PALOMOVE West Bund Pop-up is located in Shanghai West Bund Art District. As an immersive temporary project for GOODBAI’s retro tennis-inspired sportswear line, themed “Play freely, on and off court”, it showcases the full 2026 AW Drop02 collection of apparel, footwear and tennis lifestyle accessories. The pop-up transplants 1980s vintage tennis club aesthetics into West Bund’s industrial heritage venue, telling the story of dressing from tennis court to urban daily life.

Historically, PALOMOVE is a sub-line under GOODBAI, drawing inspiration from vintage tennis culture. It blurs boundaries between athletic gear and daily fashion, designing neutral outfits for light sports and city commuting. After launching online collections and the flagship store on Yuyuan Road, this West Bund pop-up serves as a large-scale curated event. Leveraging the artistic vibe of West Bund, it liberates the tennis lifestyle from permanent retail spaces and creates a nomadic temporary experience.

Spatial styling merges raw industrial texture of West Bund with vivid tennis club visuals, adopting signature lime green and cool grey palette. Silver metal grids mimic court fences and racket meshes, while granular court-style plastic flooring covers the ground. The venue consists of check-in zone, apparel and footwear gallery, mini tennis interactive area, mirrored fitting space and lounge. Oversized tennis props, vintage racket installations and brand dove logos are placed throughout. Mirror walls extend visual depth, embedding garments within court scenarios and softening rigid retail display.

In fabrication, modular steel frames and prefabricated grids are used to comply with West Bund temporary construction rules for quick assembly and dismantling. Removable granular flooring protects the original venue. Matte paint on lime-green displays balances visual impact and true colour representation of fabrics. Diffused lighting highlights garment texture, scene atmosphere and portrait shooting. Minimalist mannequins keep focus on silhouettes.

During the event, media preview, founder & guest visit, mini tennis challenges, product trials, limited gift redemption and exclusive drop release are arranged, with sport and fashion KOLs invited. On-site experience integrates closely with marketing communication. The contrast between West Bund industrial backdrop and recognizable lime-green tennis scene generates highly shareable assets. Guests and creators post styling photos and short videos across Xiaohongshu, Douyin and Weibo. Trend media publishes brand and collection analysis.

The offline pop-up acts as content origin, forming a closed loop: immersive tennis experience in industrial space, UGC creation, cross-platform topic amplification and sales conversion. This pop-up brings niche vintage tennis lifestyle into West Bund art consumption context. Beyond product selling, it strengthens PALOMOVE’s independent brand identity via nomadic temporary space. It sets a benchmark for sportswear sub-lines of local designer brands to deliver integrated art-district pop-ups combining scene interaction and social marketing.
