An Annual Event Like No Other To Tackle A Topic Like No Other: How To Ensure Sustainable Global Peace?

2018年11月4日至9日，马克龙总统在五天的时间内前往了遭受战争重创的11个省份：下莱茵河、摩泽尔、默尔特-摩泽尔、默兹、阿登、马恩、埃纳、诺尔、加来海峡、索姆和瓦兹。

法国总统马克龙和德国总理默克尔于11月10日出席在《贡比涅森林停战协定》签署地举行的法德纪念仪式后，120多位代表一战参战国、欧盟机构、联合国和其它国际组织的外国政要将齐聚凯旋门。

巴黎和平论坛(Paris Peace Forum) 为期三天，于2018年11月11日至13日在法国十九世纪的建筑瑰宝拉维莱特大厅（Grande halle de La Villette）举行。论坛迎来了众多国家元首和政府首脑、大型国际组织代表以及来自公民社会的人士等参与者。

The Paris Peace Forum is a new and innovative annual event that gathered all actors of global governance under one roof for three days, at La Grande Halle de La Villette, one of the gems of 19th-century French architecture.

该论坛为参与者设置了形式丰富的互动环节，如圆桌会、辩论会、对话会、头脑风暴、大师课等，智库、企业、协会等。现场，80多个研讨会和120个有关全球治理的精选项目以展台和展板的形式得到呈现。

It is conceived as a “hybrid” gathering where elements of conferences, summits, fairs, and workshops are mixed. Besides the 80+ panel discussions and 120+ project presentations, a hackathon was also held within the framework of the forum.

法国总统埃马纽埃尔·马克龙、德国总理安格拉·默克尔、联合国第九任秘书长安东尼奥·古特雷斯和印度社会活动家特丽莎·谢蒂共同为和平论坛揭幕。

A special moment took place in the afternoon of the first day when Emmanuel Macron President of France, Angela Merkel Chancellor of Germany, Antonio Guterres Ninth Secretary-General of the United Nations, and Trisha Shetty Indian Social Activist, together inaugurated the Peace Forum.
