The official pop‑up store of Zhou Shen COCO BAKERY was located at the G‑floor atrium of Hall A, THE BOX Young Power Center in Beijing, running from September 19 to October 5, 2026. As an offline IP derivative project of Zhou Shen’s concert tour, this pop‑up built an immersive bakery‑themed experience space taking advantage of the spacious atrium height of the venue.
Interpreted from space, styling and production perspectives, the whole scene constructed narratives centering on virtual characters Zhou Keke and Zhou Baobao. Soft milk‑coffee, warm brown and cream‑white dominated the palette, recreating the sweet atmosphere of a real bakery. The giant inflatable installation of Zhou Baobao acted as the core visual landmark for photo‑taking. Low display cabinets and soft backdrops divided the venue into three functional zones: themed photo area, interactive game zone and merchandise retail zone, optimizing visitor flow for sightseeing and product redemption. Modular prefabricated exhibits and inflatable structures were widely adopted to shorten on‑site assembly time and allow disassembly and reuse afterwards. On‑site facilities included photo booths, gashapon machines, collectible card printers and custom stamp stations, with full‑set official merchandise on display. Time‑slot reservation system was implemented for crowd management to avoid overcrowding in the open atrium space. Against the cultural backdrop, offline physical experience for entertainment IP has grown popular. Fans demand real‑world emotional connection beyond online shopping. As Beijing’s curation‑oriented commercial landmark for youth culture, THE BOX provides a highly‑suitable carrier for entertainment pop‑ups.
On‑site activities maintained close linkage with marketing communication. Distinctive themed installations were highly share‑worthy on social platforms. Visiting fans generated massive UGC photos and short videos, while content creators and industry observers published on‑site reviews. Off‑site experience boosted online discussion, and viral social topics drove more audiences to make reservations, forming a complete communication loop. This project transformed the virtual bakery world from music IP into an accessible physical setting. Beyond merchandise sales, it created an offline gathering space for fan communities. By reinforcing IP impression through spatial styling, it realized full implementation of celebrity IP from digital content to physical experience and sets a practical reference for entertainment‑themed commercial pop‑ups.
