9月26日, “途锐号宇宙飞船”邀请太空探险者们， 与大众全新一代途锐一起“先于时间，驶于未来”，开启一段“驶无前例”的跨越之旅。

Space explorers fearlessly boarded the Mission Touareg Spaceship on September 26th to embark on a world-first voyage beyond our known to the ‘Next Level Star System’. The mission target: to ‘Make The Future Real’ with the All-New Volkswagen Touareg.

时间18点45分，地点中国珠海，身穿太空服的探险者们陆续进入高科技登陆站，进行登舱前的最后准备。

Check-in at the space port commenced on 18:45 CST and space-suit clad mission participants were able to enter the high-tech hangar in Zhuhai, China, get some final space rations and prepare for their trip.

19点整，探险者们穿过登机桥进入飞船，顺利完成登舱。随后，舱内中央计算机对所有到来者表示欢迎，并依次介绍此次飞行任务的发射程序、飞船功能及安全注意事项。

Via the boarding bridge the mission troopers entered the spacecraft and boarding was completed by 19:00 CST. The ship’s computer welcomed its passengers and safety briefing and launch procedures commenced on the surrounding screens, explaining the functionality of the spacecraft and reminding all travelers of the risks of the mission and to strictly adhere to the safety protocols.

发射升空 LIFT-OFF

19时10分，发射程序启动。舱内700平米的360°环绕屏和顶部巨屏开启璀璨的星际景观，指挥中心进入激动人心的倒计时准备。随着一阵猛烈轰鸣声，飞船顺利起飞进入同温层。短暂寂静后，飞船进入绕地轨道平稳飞行。忽然，几位探险者，因未系好安全带，失重飞向空中。

19:10 CST sharp, the launch sequence was initiated. The 700m2 large 360° and top windows of the spacecraft opened to a view of the launch site and mission control initiated the countdown. With an earth shattering and violent roar, the spaceship made its lift-off and ascended through the stratosphere. A couple of moments later – silence: the ship had reached the earth’s orbit and made its way peacefully circling the planet. It turned out some passengers had forgotten to fasten their seat-belts and flew off in the zero gravity environment.

星际之旅 SPACE JOURNEY

飞船航行中，来自母舰总指挥官 施锐德先生（大众进口汽车总经理）的问候传送至舱内，一段奇妙星际之旅就此展开：飞过充满未知的太阳系，进入木星后的虫洞，“途锐号” 带领探险者们在穿越时空的旅程中，见证途锐诸多荣耀时刻。

A transmission reached the ship: Commander Axel Schröder (General Manager of Volkswagen Import) greeted the space explorers from the mothership and wished all of them a safe mission. Spacecraft Touareg then set out on its journey through our solar system before entering a wormhole just behind Jupiter that led through space and time, re-encountering highlight moments of the Touareg’s history.

穿越超星系 NEXT LEVEL GALAXY 

终于，“途锐号宇宙飞船”成功驶入太空舱道与母舰对接，迎来当晚主角：全新一代途锐穿越空间轨道，惊艳亮相全场。当晚总指挥官施锐德先生亲自登陆飞船欢迎致辞。在他的带领下，探险者们继续穿越超星系，探索全新途锐的无限可能。

Eventually the spacecraft reached its mothership and in an awe-inspiring sequence docked into its hangar with booming sounds surrounding the spacecraft. The all-new Touareg transitioned from the hangar into Spaceship Touareg to the delight of the space explorers and Commander Schröder himself stepped aboard and welcomed the mission participants. Traversing through the Next Level Galaxy, the commander brought the mission crew through a star system in which the travelers were able to discover planets of ‘next-level facts’ of the all-new Touareg.

太空营 SPACE CAMP

为顺利完成航行任务，登舱前，探险者们接受了为期一天的专业培训。培训地点位于沿珠海海岸搭建的专属“太空营”内，面积近20,000平米。

Yet, before the space explorers were ready to embark on their journey, they went through a day of preparation: in the space camp set up across 20,000㎡ at the coast of Zhuhai, they were trained to cope with their upcoming mission.

试驾 TEST DRIVE

HYPER REALITY TEST DRIVE  

培训重磅亮点当属世界首个全体感景域融合式VR驾乘之旅：只需带上VR眼镜，启动引擎，探险者们即可驾驶全新途锐在虚拟实境（由VGIC提供）中畅游！驾乘车辆在现实中的任何动作，都将实时反映在虚拟音视频体验中。集合创新与科技，我们巧妙利用混合现实技术，让驾驶一辆真正的汽车穿行于虚拟世界的构想成为现实。

Special highlight in the training of the mission participants was the world’s first ‘Hyperreality Test-Drive’: In this revolutionary experience (courtesy of VGIC), guests were able enter a simulated parallel world created in Virtual Reality – all along driving in the Touareg! Any movements the vehicle they were sitting in made in reality, were reflected in their virtual audio-visual experience in real-time. Effectively this technical feat and radical innovation of ‘Mixed Reality’ allowed guests to drive through a virtual world in a real car.

Over 100 million viewers around the world followed the pan-galactic happening on September 26 via online-broadcast channels, anxiously awaiting the mission success.

发布会当天，我们与专业媒体朋友们共鉴途锐风采。9/7到9/29期间，精彩延续。1500名来自大众进口汽车、大众经销商和投资商的探索者们陆续受邀与途锐一同穿越时空，完成10次星际航行。在接下来的两个月里，活动将登陆成都、杭州和北京三座城市，继续未知旅程。

Beyond the space explorers assembled of media professionals on that day, we traversed uncharted space and explored the infinite universe in another 10 star treks between 9/7 and 9/29 with participants from VGIC, Volkswagen’s dealer network and investors, reaching a total of around 1500 mission troopers and in the following two months we will start further missions from space ports in Chengdu, Hangzhou and Beijing.
